Supposedly pressed by Panos/Unisound, this "bootleg of a bootleg" is a normal CD-press of the CD-R Mastercult Records released. The real CDs have a thick white border around the cover art, and have font and layout changes compared to the CD-Rs.

Specific single dates are given for "The Utter Dark" (18/03/1990) and "....Revenge" (28/09/1990) demos. This is kind of weird, as neither recording was just done on a single day--"The Utter Dark" was recorded Mar. 17 and 18th, and "....Revenge" was recorded from Sept. 28 to either the 29th or 30th.

Track 6 has different lyrics from the later compilation and "Where No Life Dwells" versions.

For tracks 7-11, the 1990 promo is listed in the booklet as being titled "The Dark One." I don't think the tape had any sort of specific official title, and someone just slapped that name on it since it's the first song. These recordings are better known from later uses--tracks 7 and 11 became the "And the Laughter Has Died..." EP, and 8-10 were on the "In the Eyes of Death" compilation. All of these tracks (with 2 more from the same session) were bonuses on the reissue of "Where No Life Dwells."

Tracks 12-17 are listed as being from a live demo; I'm pretty sure the "Live Revenge Tour" was an early bootleg tape. There are breaks between the live tracks.
