The specific month/day is not listed on the bootleg. One of the most famous live Priest shows since it was broadcast on MTV and released on video (the DVD in the "Metalogy" boxset is from this show). It was apparently recorded with the intent to release it as a live album, but this never came to be. Halford comments about the show being recorded before "Devil's Child."

"Hellion" and "Electric Eye" were not divided correctly, so track 1 also contains about the first half of "Electric Eye," and track 2 is the rest.

Halford changes the "Washington Square" line in "Diamonds and Rust" to reflect their Memphis location.

After "The Ripper," it sounds like there's an edit/jump since the crowd noise seems to change. I don't know what was cut out, if anything. The end of disc 1 fades out.

There's a slight sound oddity on disc 2, track 4 at 7:50. It's possible it could be an edit. There are also sound oddities that are probably jumps at the ends of tracks 5 and 6. Since these were before encores, I assume some of the idle time was cut out.

Great show (probably at the height of their popularity in the USA) with an excellent setlist. I think this is the only complete version of this show on CD format, although audio from this show is also on the "Metal Gods" boot CD and on a couple of boot LPs like "Live in U.S.A. 83," "Memphis Rockabilly Band," and the "Voice of the Priest" split-LP with Iron Maiden.

The cover for this bootleg is taken from the Excalibur film poster.
