While packaged under the guise of "the earliest known recordings" by Metallica, this is just the "No Life 'Til Leather" demo with stage banter mixed in from real live shows. I'm not sure if the crowd noise is "real" or not, but it sounds looped. Since there are plenty of bootlegs both of genuine early live gigs and of the demo, this really ends up being a novelty item concocted by an overzealous bootlegger.

Several variants of this bootleg under the "Bay Area Thrashers" name exist, including one with a similar cover in black and white, and yet another with a picture of the Hammett/Burton lineup and a logo in generic font. Some of the other versions have additional intro and interview tracks, but I've never heard these to know what they are. The "In the Beginning... Live" boot CD is also the same altered demo material.
