13. Run To The Hills (Iron Maiden cover) (4:00)

There are fade-outs after tracks 4, 6, 7, 9, 10, and 12.

Only the mellow beginning part of "Living for the Night" is played. "Nothing to Say" has different lyrics from later versions.

So-so audience recording, though it seems to get a bit better by the end. The recording quality itself isn't too bad, but the audio seems a bit distant and soft.

I've seen conflicting info on whether this is actually a true bootleg or just some sort of semi-official fanclub release. It's certainly in a very professional package, as the booklet contains full lyrics, detailed song commentary about all the demo tracks, and even member profiles--if it weren't for the lack of label and the genericness of the title font, this could easily pass as an official CD. Whatever the case, I'll include it here for now since it's clearly not meant to be a normal commercially-released CD.

Even though the first version of "Carry On" is grouped with the other "Reaching Horizons" tracks in the tracklisting, going by what the bootleg says, the second version (track 7) is the "official version from demotape," and track 1 is the "original version with alternate chorus." They do indeed have slightly different choruses; the chorus vocals on track 7 are doubled and the vocal melodies are more like the later album version of the song. Both versions of "Carry On" also have part of the first movement of Schubert's Symphony No. 8 as the intro (the intro is still included before the version of "Carry On" from the band's debut album, although it's indexed as a seperate track there).

The demo songs all have slighty different lyrics from later versions (or in the case of "Angels Cry," not so slight). Track 9 is also a more metallic rendition than the version on "Angels Cry."
